Radio Keeps Playing

The radio keeps playing with the doors off, and after turning off the engine:

This is likely occurring because the OE system has two available configurations.

These settings can be found on page 230 of the vehicle owner’s manual.

When the doors have been removed, the key fob is used as the door event, meaning you must walk away from the vehicle for the off-power delay to instate the timer.

Setting Name	Description
Doors On Key Off Power Delay/Doors On Power Delay	This setting will keep certain electrical features running after the engine is turned on. When any door is opened, the electronics will deactivate. The available settings are 0 sec, 45 sec, 5 min, and 10 min.
Doors Off Key Off Power Delay/Doors Off Power Delay	This setting will keep certain electrical features running after the engine is turned on. When any door is opened, the electronics will deactivate. The available settings are 0 sec, 45 sec, 5 min, and 10 min.

To change these settings, you must use the OE screen, and the vehicle must be in the ON/RUN position.

Starting on page 219, press the uConnect Apps button
Press the Settings button on the touchscreen to display the menu settings screen. In this mode the uConnect system allows you to access programmable features.

When selecting, only press one button at a time to enter the desired menu.

Once in the desired menu, press and release the preferred setting option until a checkmark appears next to the settings, showing that the setting has been selected.
Once the setting is complete, press the X button on the touchscreen to close out of the settings screen.
Pressing the Up or Down arrive button on the right side of the screen will allow you to toggle up or down through the available settings.
