Introduction
The following instructions will guide you through the installation process to replace the Rear Ceiling Speakers / Rear Deck Speakers into the factory locations of your BMW.
TIP Before you begin, review these instructions thoroughly and ensure that all parts are present and tools are available.

- Torx: T-15, T-20

Ceiling Speaker Removal
Follow the instructions below to remove the ceiling speaker.
- Open the rear hatch.
- Remove the speaker grille using a panel tool.
- Remove the two (2) T-15 screws from the speaker plate.
- Remove the entire speaker plate with the speakers attached.
- Unplug the harness from the OE speaker (highlighted below).
- Place the speaker plate on the work surface and remove the five (5) T-20 screws to remove the factory speakers from the speaker plate (highlighted below).
Installation
Follow the instructions below to install the ceiling speaker.
- Attach the included speaker harness to the new speaker.
- With the factory speakers removed, install the new speaker into the speaker plate.
- Attach the speaker to the speaker plate with the three (3) T-20 screws (highlighted below).
- Connect the factory harness to the new speaker harness.
- Mount the speaker plate back into location with the two (2) T-15 screws.
- Reinstall the factory grille.
NOTE Repeat the above steps on the opposite side of the vehicle to complete installation.
